WORD FOR THE WEEK: SANCTIFY
Sanctify is a sacred word that means to make holy, or to set apart for the expressed use of God and His service.
In the last chapter of the book of Exodus, we find Moses carrying out instructions from God to set up the tabernacle, put all of its vessels in their proper places, and to consecrate them (and Aaron and Aaron’s son’s) for the service of the Lord.
The sanctifying process required Moses to anoint the objects and the specified people so they could properly minister to God and create a priesthood that would be representative of an everlasting ordination for priestly service unto Him.
We are now the priests spoken of in those days. Are you prepared and sanctified for the Lord to use in His service?
